Moon Gate Project
Black Bear Builders collaborated on the design of the structure, which is based on an image provided by our client. At 9’ tall and 14’ wide, the moon gate is set on a concrete foundation, with a wood framed structure overlayed with Amish barnwood. The custom bent iron beam has iron brackets and rivets, which will age in place as the metal features oxidize. We also designed, built and installed lantern posts to complement the moon gate with the same Amish barnwood and iron brackets.

To enjoy our Minnesota summers, many people are dream of creating at outdoor kitchen. With granite countertops and durable outdoor appliances, we built a functional sanctuary for this client.
Patios
Patios and summer just go together. A new patio can refresh your backyard and extend your living space during the warmer months. This patio features stamped concrete, and untilizes two colors to specify the sidewalk from the sitting area.

Installed large dog door w/dual flaps on side of house lower level. Installed new storm door. Stuart did an exceptional job. Very professional and came prepared! Kitchen cabinet replacement and floor repair. Stuart worked with us to come up with great solutions to fix our water damaged kitchen. There were a few issues as there are in any project, but he resolved everything to make sure we were happy and kitchen looked great!
